Lunchtime fight

The game of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds is extremely addictive. Even more so when you play against Alex and the bastard beats you every single time without fail. I must… I will beat him tomorrow.

Actually I’d like to change my stated point of view - the game isn’t addictive; trying to beat that bastard Alex is addictive. And once I do, I shall stop playing. And I shall be so smug. Oh yes, the smugness will ooze from my pores. From that moment onwards I will cut down any conversation that mentions the game with “Ah, but who won the last game???”

“Can I have the Star Wars CD back, because…”
“Ah, but who won the last game, you loser bastard?!?!”

I can almost taste the victory - and it tastes good.
